The User Guide To The GF/CF Diet For Autism, Asperger Syndrome and AD/HD

My autistic and AD/HD brother and myself are all on a gluten, casein, monosodium glutamate and aspartame free diet which has helped us in so many ways I cannot begin to describe them all here.
I instead wrote a book which describes exactly how I felt when I started this diet and what changes I saw also in my brothers. My Mum wrote the second half of the book( the appendices) telling how she copes with cooking for seven children on different diets and she also gives many recipes and a section for those in the UK about what food can be obtained on prescription.

The book can be bought online at Amazon.com or JKP.com

Foreword by Marilyn Le Breton
1. An Introduction to Moi
2. The Diet in a Nutshell: A bit of basic biology
3. So What's in it For Me?: Is it really worth the bother?
4. Frequently Asked Questions: Questions and answers
5. Starting Out: Let the Journey Begin
6. Getting Into the Diet: The Fog Begins to Lift
7. Accidents Will Happen: Watch out for icebergs
8. A Few Added Extras: Sailing into foreign ports

I have to give a resounding vote of thanks to Marilyn Le Breton and Rosemary Kessick and all all at Allergy Induced Autism for their unfailing work and research into the links with diet and autism. Without the GF/CF diet I would be a very different person - in fact our family would be completely different. I would most likely have  a 'lost', non- verbal 5 yr old brother and a human tornado for a 9 yr old brother!

I have also written another book called 'Freaks, Geeks and Asperger's Syndrome - A user guide to adolescence' which is out now.
